1) Registration system that helps ensure that users are from the Colchester area
2) Member areas, such as Business Network, Parents Club, Photography Club, Health and Fitness Club
3) Business Facilities - We shall provide businesses with their own advertising space, business networking forums, online survey facilities. Our aim is to take highwoods.co.uk to the top of google for many colchester related search terms. We also want to help businesses connect for both B2B and B2C.
4) Local Attractions - We shall review and advertise many local attractions. If you have any details of great local attractions that you would like us to include then please send them to us.
5) I also plan on running some monthly competitions
6) Because I am now charging businesses to use our business networking and advertising features, I am going to invest the majority of that money into local marketing

To help make highwoods.co.uk successful, I am going to arrange some face to face business workshops. The first workshop is called "Successful Website Marketing". This workshop is aimed at business users who want to get more visitors/customers to their business website. The second shall be a series of entrepreneurial workshops showing how to take an idea for a software product (or website) to market - we shall actually pick an idea and implement it over an 8 week period. The entrepreneurial workshops are available to people from the age of 16 - anyone who who is interested in learning how to take an idea to market. The "Successful Website Marketing" workshop is only available to local business owners.
